Mr. Bo Jangles & Tilly
Intake Date: 1/19/25 & 8/24/25
Age: 3 years & 5 years
Breed: Great Pyrenees, Collie mix
They think that they are lap dogs!
Bo and Tilly joined the Fabled Farm team after being saved by a local dog rescued and needing working farm homes. They both arrived in rough shape and a little unsure, but they have quickly made themselves at home.
They are invaluable additions by helping to keep all of the animals safe by patrolling the farm at night and alerting to any danger. Not only are they wonderful working dogs, they are fantastic farm greeters and welcome visitors and volunteers with wagging tails.
They adore each other and can often be seen playfully chasing each other around the farm in the morning.
Favorite Things: Canned cat food, greeting visitors, and playing chase with each other around the farm
Piper McChompers
Intake Date: 5/6/24
Age: 1 year
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Yes, her full name is Piper McChompers, she was very bitey when she first arrived!
Piper arrived at Fabled Farm after having been attached by a dog at only a few weeks old. Her face was badly damaged in the attack resulting in the need for several facial reconstructive surgeries. Thankfully her eye was able to be saved, but she did lose all of her teeth on one side.
Piper made best friends with a tiny sad kitten that arrived named Buttons...so Buttons has stayed as part of Piper's support team.
Piper will continue to receive surgeries as needed as she continues to grow. Because of this she and Buttons are remaining at Fabled Farm as our Shop Cats! They love greeting visitors, getting lots of pets, and supervising the farm from the window.
Favorite Things: Getting all of the attention, playing with toys, and watching birds on YouTube
Orange
Intake Date: 9/25/23
Age: 4 years
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
From feral kitty to a part of the Fabled Farm barn crew!
We used to just see an orange and white speck across the horse field, but over several months we were slowly able to gain Orange's trust.
When we were finally able to catch him and get his vetting done, we were afraid we might never see him again. Thankfully he decided that he loved the barn cat life!
Orange now spends his days laying around the barn, sleeping in the cat houses, and working the night shift.
We are so glad this sweet boy was willing to trust us and become a member of the family!
Favorite Things: Canned food, sleeping in the straw, and avoiding the love we want to give him
Kiwi & Clementine
Intake Date: 3/15/22
Age: 4 years
Breed: Domestic Short & Long
We never trust people when they tell us an animal is mean!
When brother and sister duo, Kiwi and Clementine, arrived at Fabled Farm, we were told they were mean and could never be social or handled...
Fast forward to today and both are so friendly that it is hard for visitors and volunteers to do anything except pet them! They are both total love bugs that enjoy all of the attention.
Kiwi is the unofficial barn greeter! He is also known to make himself at home in visitors' vehicles if the windows are left open.
We are thrilled that both Kiwi and Clementine decided to share so much love with us!
Favorite Things: Dinner time, greeting guests, and distracting volunteers
Autumn
Intake Date: 11/5/22
Age: 5 years
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
She was a great mom for really just being a baby herself!
Autumn arrived at Fabled Farm with a group of other kitties that were rescued from a hoarding situation. Autumn was the grandmother of generations, but she was only 1.5 years old herself.
She was cautiously friendly, but uncomfortable inside. Once her kittens were weaned, and she received her vetting, we were able to transition her outside. Autumn is a great barn cat and loves to "help" with chores. She is friendly with a bit of sass, but she adores kids that visit.
This sweet girl deserved having a forever home, so she joined the barn staff as a working kitty.
Favorite Things: Being involved in everything, canned food, and getting lots of pets
