He's a bit of a show off!
Mr. Magerkel arrived with his best friend, a guinea named Bob The farm where they lived couldn't stand to separate them...so they reached out to us!
They were very bonded and after several years together at Fabled Farm, Bob passed away. Mr. M has missed his buddy, but has made friends with a beautiful female turkey who came to the rescue named, Stevie. We believe everyone deserves to have a best friend at the farm.
Mr. Magerkel loves to show off his turkey dance for visitors and volunteers. He thinks everyone is coming just to see him!
Favorite Things: Strutting for the ladies, showing off for visitors, and getting snacks
The Chickens

It is an eclectic mix for sure!
The Fabled Farm chickens have come from many different situations, but they have all been able to enjoy life here at the rescue!
Some are able to free range during the day with the two roosters, Rock and Garnet, supervising, and some stay in the fenced area.
Our ladies include: Miss Hattie, Betty Boop, Jade, Onyx, The Rockettes (we can't tell these 3 apart), and The Supremes - Florence Ballard, Diana Ross, and Mary Wilson.
We love our diverse group of chickens and how well they have accepted each other to live in harmony here at the farm.
Favorite Things: Grubbly Farms treats and hopping the fence and going to the big barn
The Ducks

Our duck family is an eclectic group of rescues from all types of situations. Since arriving at Fabled Farm they have all become the best of friends and are always together.
They spend their days playing in the baby pools, foraging in the grass, and pooping on everything...because ducks are very messy!
When we have flooding rains they love to swim in the rivers created in the pasture and have the best time. We love their funny personalities!
The current ducks: Biggie, Smalls, Bluebell, and Buttercup.
Favorite Things: Frozen peas, rainy days, and baby pools full of water for swimming and splashing
Feathered Butt Hut

Breed: Mixed Flock
They're adorable, but not smart!
The smaller chicken breeds needed an enclosed area at the farm, so we created a coop with attached run for them and any chicken with special needs.
This group enjoys enrichment activities and foraging, while being safe in their predator proof outdoor space.
Rooster: Mr. Fluffin Cluck
The ladies: Gertrude, Beatrice, Maude, Edna, Hester, and Myrtle.
Although they are all very cute, we are pretty sure they are sharing a braincell and they can't see much through the floofy feathers!
Favorite Things: Grubbly Farms treats, vegetables from the garden, and being adorable
